Borders True Romance (and a Giveaway)

Hey everyone!  So you may have heard–ahem–that Something About You won the Readers Crown Award for Best Long Contemporary.  Whoo-hoo!  As part of that, today I’m over at the Borders True Romance blog, offering up a behind-the-scenes look at the inspiration behind the story.  (And if you haven’t heard the story, it’s a good one.)  For extra fun, I’m giving away three copies of the book.  Drop by if you get a chance!

P.S. I also drop a teeny, tiny hint about my next book About That Night.  Like, a blink-and-you-missed-it, micro nugget.  But it’s something. : )

One more thing: if you’re in the Denver area, or plan to attend this year’s RomCon, I’ll be at the convention August 6-7th.  You can find out more about the convention here.

    Congratulations, Julie!! It’s awesome…

Your “Something About You (SAY)” more than deserve about this Readers Crown Award. It’s so true that it’s the best of all your 4-books I have ever read — not that the rest are bad, but they aren’t just as great as this “SAY” 🙂

I love the chemistry between Jack & Cameron. They both are very strong character with a strong determination… I enjoy very much the witty banter, playful teasing & smart conversation between them. It creates lots…lots….lots of colorful sparkles which make the story line alive and lovely.

The truth is I was laughing out loud for the first 5-pages on this book for it’s so amusing & funny — a very cute start point though. And I was smiling like an idiot for the last 5-pages because I don’t want it to end.

The fact that Jack & Cameron has their history make the plot more interesting. It starts from attraction to affection…from fellow colleague to fantastic couple…from impossible to I’m-possible :). Julie has put it all in a very nice way!

It’s such a pleasure to read your each book, Julie.

    Once again, many congratulations!

Can’t wait for the “About That Night”.

Julie, congratulations!! Wow, Something About You was my favorite of your books. I loved the story between Jack and Cameron. I was up til 3 AM reading. Finally finished the next day, which means I got nothing done that day. Well worth it!
