RT BookLovers Convention–the photos

So y’all know how bad I am at remembering to take photos at these things. Luckily, other folks are much better at that, so I’ve  stolen–er, grabbed–a few pics from them.

I’m having a blast hanging out with readers and authors at the RT BookLovers Convention. But can I just say, 35 degrees and snow in Kansas City? Someone needs to tell Mother Nature that it’s May.

Where I’ll be at the RT Convention

I’m leaving on Tuesday for the RT Convention in Kansas City (yay!), and I wanted to give those of you attending a heads-up to where I’ll be.

On Thursday, I’ll be part of a panel of authors discussing contemporary romance:

GENRE: CONTEMPORARY: THE MANY FLAVORS OF CONTEMPORARY ROMANCE
From the grown-up boy next door to the small-town girl trying to make it in the big city, contemporary romance has it all. Authors discuss their distinct approaches to the genre, along with the differences and similarities between romantic comedy, small-town romance, urban romance and women’s fiction.

Date: Thursday, May 2, 2013 – 11:15am – 12:15pm
Captain: Louisa Edwards
Panelist(s): Julie James, Ruthie Knox, Brenda Novak, Jill Shalvis, Roxanne St. Claire
Location: Mezzanine Level
Room: Empire B

Then on Saturday, I’ll be signing books at the Giant Book Fair. Here’s the info on that:

“Meet more than 400 authors who will autograph books, posters and bookmarks. Bring your “keepers” and have them signed!

The Saturday Giant Book Fair ticket is included in the full general convention registration fee.

This event is also open to the public and can be purchased as an individual ticket for just the Giant Book Fair. You can purchase a ticket at the door the day of the event. Pre-ordered tickets will be picked up at the hotel on the day of the Giant Book Fair.

You may bring in your books from home to get them autographed, however, they must be checked in and stamped (invisible ink so no damage to your books) before you enter the book fair. Also only two books from home per author are allowed.

Date: Saturday, May 4, 2013 – 11:00am – 2:00pm
Host(s): RT Book Reviews
Location: Mezzanine Level
Room: Exhibit Hall A”

Here’s a link to the list of authors attending. Hope to see many of you this week!
