Hi everyone! Mark your calendars if you’re in the Chicago area. On Saturday, March 13th, I’ll be doing a book signing with several great authors: Beth Kery, Joss Ware (also writing as Colleen Gleason) and Shiloh Walker. The info is:
Barnes & Noble
Webster Place
1441 West Webster Avenue
Chicago, IL 60614
The signing is from 3-5pm. For those of you driving, there’s free parking in the lot for 90 minutes with store validation.
In other news, I wanted to say a special thanks to The Chicklit Club, for naming Practice Makes Perfect one of their favorite reads of 2009!
And now I’m off to find a plumber who’s working this holiday week. . . I took a shower yesterday and came downstairs to find it raining in my kitchen. Merry Christmas to me. 🙂
*dies, commences with with whining*

Stacy better be going and taking many, many piccies!
Happy holidays, Julie! I hope you and your family have a wonderful one!
Wish I could be there!
Damn straight I’ll be there! I’m so looking forward to it – I mean just look at that lineup. Stellar writers each and every one.
Merry Christmas to Julie, Mr. James, and the little guy. Hope it’s fantastic, and that the plumbers work their magic so you can all enjoy the holiday.
Hey girls!
Kati and Katiebabs: you’ll be there in spirit! 😉
Stacy: Looking forward to seeing you there! It should be a lot of fun.
Happy holidays to all of you!!
I just may have to take the train down for this. 🙂
I just might have to book a flight to Chicago for the weekend. I would love to be at your book signing. If I can’t make it, hope Stacy takes lots of pictures!
Merry Christmas to everyone!
Hi Julie
Best wishes to you & your family. Your son is at such a cute age especially for Christmas time. I know how you feel about the plumbing thing right about now. We just spent $1750.00 on a transmission problem for our second car that’s never given us a moment of trouble. Hubby’s birthday is Christmas Eve & both car tag renewals are due on his birthday. We did the 2 year thing so we don’t have to worry about it next year. Hope everything goes okay for you with the plumber. All the best for the new year.
Hi Barbara! Hope to see you there! It should be a fun signing.
Liza: If you can’t make it, I’m sure Stacy will take lots of pictures– and me, too. 😉
Mary G: Sorry to hear about the transmission–not so fun when these things happen over the holidays, is it?
Sounds like fun. Thanks for letting us know but we’ll be at SXSW that weekend. Enjoy!
