That’s right, folks, it’s DABWAHA time again, the March Madness tournament of romance novels (actually, romance, urban fantasy, paranormal, and crossover fiction, but I digress.)

Many of you are familiar with the drill from last year–where, thanks to all of you, my book advanced to the Elite Eight.  Well, my 2010 release, SOMETHING ABOUT YOU, has been nominated, and the competition is going to be fierce.  To put things in perspective, Mockingjay by Suzanne Collins (yes, the Hunger Games book) is one of the competitors this year.

We must be strong, Team SAY. Don’t be fooled by the fact that those crazy pollsters have ranked me a #1 seed.  In the first round, which started today, I’m up against an author who is a USA Today bestseller and two-time RITA winner.

Holy [beep]!  Practice Makes Perfect advanced to the Elite Eight of DABWAHA! Extra-super big thanks to all of you who voted in the previous rounds–in Round 3, PMP beat the competition by 35 votes out of over 1000. So every vote helped!

And now PMP is up again. . . and pitted against Ecstasy Unveiled by Larissa Ione. Tattooed, bare-chested man-demons.  Whew!  It doesn’t get any tougher than that.

Whoo-hoo!  Practice Makes Perfect advanced to Round 3 in the DABWAHA March Madness tournament of romance novels!  Many, many thanks to all of you who voted in the previous rounds–in Round 2, PMP beat its competition by EIGHT votes out of nearly 600.  Just goes to show that every vote counts.

And now PMP is up again. . . and pitted against–yikes!–Smooth Talking Stranger by Lisa Kleypas.  Talk about your David and Goliath situation.  😉
