Off to the movie theater…

Mr. James and I are headed off to the movies today– our first time going to the theater in months!  Maybe even a year.  (This is what happens with two kids under four years old.)  Any guesses what we’re going to see?  I’ll give you a hint:

Yep, I can admit it–I set up a babysitter weeks ago so that Mr. James and I could see the new Harry Potter movie.  Hey, with a five week-old baby at home, a little advance planning is required…

How about you?  What have you been watching/reading lately?

    Hi Julie
My tennis buddies & I went to see Morning Glory. We really enjoyed it. Love Harrison Ford & Diane Keaton – they still got it. So funny in some parts we had tears running down our faces.

Read: Edge Of Sight by Roxanne St. Clair (& the free prequel from her site) -fabulous!!

Read: some backlist books from Marianne Stillings & Robin Wells – very funny.

Bet you missed Little Guy & Cupcake anyway.

I haven’t seen a movie in so long. I think the last one I saw in the theater was The Sorcerer’s Apprentice which was ok. I plan to see HP in the theater but my sister saw it and thought it could possibly be a renter instead. She thought it was good and expects the last one to be a definite theater movie (lots of special effects and big screen worthy action).

Currently reading Demon Hunter by Meljean Brooks. It’s an easy, fun read, but could be cut by 100 pages (400+)the plot kind of drags. Recently read all of Beverly Connor’s Lindsay Chamberlain mysteries. Really good, but I’m jonesing for a wrap up book which I don’t think is coming since the last book was released in 2000. That’s the problem with finding a new to me series and reading them all in a row, you’re really primed for the next one, but there isn’t one.

I loved Harry Potter. It was the last movie I saw at the theater and the final one will probably be the next one I see in the theater. It cost so much to go to the movies, I only pay the price to see something I can’t wait to see.

What did you and Mr. James think?
