Whoo-hoo! Practice Makes Perfect advanced to Round 3 in the DABWAHA March Madness tournament of romance novels! Many, many thanks to all of you who voted in the previous rounds–in Round 2, PMP beat its competition by EIGHT votes out of nearly 600. Just goes to show that every vote counts.
And now PMP is up again. . . and pitted against–yikes!–Smooth Talking Stranger by Lisa Kleypas. Talk about your David and Goliath situation. 😉
But we are not ready to go down yet! If you liked Practice Makes Perfect, it needs your vote! Head on over to the DABWAHA site and vote by 11pm CST on Thursday. Here’s the link where you can vote.
Voting is open to everyone. So spread the word to others!! Fight hard, Team PMP!!
Okay. . . can you tell I’m getting into this? Just a little. 😉
Thanks for the heads up Julie. Just voted.
You’re awesome, Mary. Truly. Fingers crossed the votes keep coming.
I voted, too. I read both books and although I enjoyed Lisa Kleypas’ trilogy, your book edged out STS. It came down to the heroines; I liked Payton in PMP better than Ella in STS. Now America gets to vote. LOL
Hi Kim,
Thanks for voting! I can’t disagree– I liked STS, too. But I’m particularly partial to PMP. 😉
I vote first thing this morning. Hope PMP makes it to the next round.
Hi Julie, just discovered your books, read the 3 of them in a row, they were amazing! You’ve become one of my fav author in just less than 2 weeks, and let me tell you I’ve been reading hundreds of books over the last 10 years. I love the intelligence of the characters, and the verbal lines between them, too good!
I’ll try to get to see if I can still vote or if it’s too late!
Can I ask when is your next book out? Soon I hope!
