How cool is this? The other day, I received from Berkley copies of several foreign editions of my books. I love these covers! And since I don’t have jpegs of all the covers, I thought I’d take a few photos and share.
What do you think? I’m not sure why the Chinese cover includes the image of the Parthenon… but I love it. And Jason and Taylor look about eighteen years old in the Russian edition of Just the Sexiest Man Alive, but they’re so cute together it doesn’t matter.
So there you have it–I’ve gone global. There are other foreign editions in the works, including a French edition of Something About You, and I can’t wait to see those as well!
They all look great 🙂 . My DIL is Japanese, her and my son live in Okinawa and everytime I find out one of my favorite authors has a book in Japanese I let her know! She’s expecting our #2 granddaughter in early Nov. so she’s ready for some reading relaxation…#1 granddaughter is only 10 months old 😮 !!
Congrats on your international success. The covers are so interesting.
The Thai & Japanese covers of JTSMA are so cute!
Congrats, Julie. I’m always curious to see how the foreign covers differ from the original version.
Hi, Julie, the Chinese editions are actually from Taiwan, not China. Just to let you know that. I’m from Taiwan.
Even though I didn’t read your books in Chinese, I read them in English.
I have all your books and can’t wait for No. 4. Congrats on your succuess internationally. 😀
Hi Amy: oh–good to know! Berkley told me they were Chinese editions, so I did the same. 🙂 I’ll make that correction now. Thanks!
Those are great covers! I will say that I like the American ones better. I like leaving their looks to the imagination a little and I think those covers do that. It must be neat for you to see how your work is portrayed overseas. That’s awesome!
Congrats on your success Julie! I love all the covers. Very appropriate for your wonderful stories!
Thanks for sharing.
Best
I have just finished reading the Russian edition of Just the Sexiest Man Alive! Its the best novel I’ve read so far! Love it!
Thanks, everyone! And Katerina–so happy to hear that you enjoyed JTSMA!
