Some book news (And a giveaway!)

*Please note: the giveaway is now closed.

Hey everyone!

I have some news that I wanted to share: the release date of my next book, SUDDENLY ONE SUMMER, has been pushed back one month, to June 2.

Now, I know that I’m a bit of a slow writer, so I can guess how some of you might be feeling after hearing about this slight delay in the release date.

Or, for the super-fans, maybe even something like this:

But I promise you, there’s a very good reason for this teeny, tiny delay. And that reason is . . . I simply needed more time with the book. πŸ™‚

On the upside, I’m really, really happy with the way the book turned out. I don’t want to say too much, but I did some different things with SUDDENLY ONE SUMMER–although don’t worry, it’s still very much a “Julie James” book. And it’s also the longest book I’ve written. Not to mention, the hero, Ford Dixon, looks like this:

Ford

Surely, he’s worth a one-month wait, right?

So that’s the low-down. SUDDENLY ONE SUMMER will be out June 2. You can pre-order it now from Amazon, Barnes & Noble, Google Play, and iTunes. In fact, it’s currently only $5.99 in KindleΒ and Google play, so if you pre-order your copy now you’ll lock in that sale price. And who doesn’t love a sale, right?

SOS final cover

Now for the giveaway part: As many of you probably recall, Ford, the hero of my upcoming book, first appeared in LOVE IRRESISTIBLY. So this week I’m giving away five copies of LOVE IRRESISTIBLY. All you have to do to enter is leave a comment below. (Those of you reading this on my Goodreads page should click here to enter.) Winners can choose between a signed paperback or a Kindle/Nook ebook. Giveaway is international and will remain open until 9pm CST on Thursday, February 5. Good luck!
